Carol Durrum
 
Carol began painting professionally in the early 1990s.  She has participated in numerous workshops with artists, David Leffel, Xian Zhang, Jo Anna Arnet, Greg Kreritz, and Joh Encinias.  While she has won top awards in various competitions, her greatest achievement thus far has been her acceptance into the Oil Painters of America Annual Juried Exhibition both in 2005 and 2006.  This year Carol won the Betty Schmidt Award of Excellence with her 20 x 24 oil painting “Chinese Jar and Persimmons”.

She and her husband, Frank, live in Mt. Pleasant, Texas
