DONNA HODGE
Donna graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
However, while earning this degree she was able to include 10 credit hours of art studies. She later continued her training in art by joining the Mt. Pleasant Art Society where she participated in many workshops with accomplished and published artist-instructors John Potochnik, Dan Burt, Leo Smith, Judy Betts, Ed Whitney and Jan Herring.
Donna has won numerous awards with her watercolor paintings and has been accepted into the Southwest Watercolor Society, a prestigious honor for watercolorists.
In Donna’s paintings the viewer senses a feeling of peaceful tranquility. With her loose and flowing technique one can image the gentle and free movement of the watercolor brush as it glides across the paper.
Donna says, “Although my career began later in life I can truly say I love what I do and its been both a challenge and blessing to my life.” |
