Sandra was enrolled in the pottery class at Northeast Texas Community College, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, when she suddenly found herself involved in another form of art. Sandra says it all happened when she was exploring a way to add silver to her clay pots. She says, “I never expected to get hooked on making jewelry, it was just supposed to enhance my pottery.” Now, making jewelry is her main love.
The wire Sandra uses varies from 14-22 gauge sterling silver. She often incorporates ceramic and glass stones that she casts herself into her designs. Owners of Sandra’s work are quick to recognize the quality and perfection Sandra puts into each piece.
