SANDRA McCURRY
 
Sandra’s art has been a constant thread throughout her life.  As a child growing up with few commercial toys, and the daughter of an artist, Sandra has always been encouraged to express herself with art.  She began taking art classes at an early age and hasn’t’ slowed down, Sandra attended Abilene Christian University majoring in art education. After college she taught art in the public school system for 23 years.  Studying under Georgia Lange inspired her to sculpt images of children.  “I have always had an affinity for children”, says Sandra.

Sandra currently owns and operates THE MUD HEN STUDIO in Pittsburg, Texas where she and her husband, Mike have their home.
